CONNIE GARCIA

Human Resources Manager

Connie grew up on the Central Coast and received a degree in Computerized Accounting and Human Resources in Santa Barbara. Until she came to SLOCA in 2020, Connie put her knowledge and care for others to work as an HR Generalist for ResCare Services which served adults with developmental disabilities. Now, she is our Office Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator and is in charge of Student Records! She loves the community and teamwork that SLOCA is known for, and though she knew little to nothing about Classical Education until coming to SLOCA, she is excited to further her love of learning by studying the great classical educators of the past. When she’s not buffing up on the ancients, you can find her camping in the great outdoors.
