Like many of us here at SLOCA, Erin Haar has a passion for the written word. The Pasadena native grew up surrounded by voracious readers. She attended CSU Bakersfield and earned a B.A. in child development before joining the SLOCA community as a parent and later as part of our Safety Team in 2024. So what brought her to SLOCA? She loves our small class sizes, close community, and the curriculum’s focus on literature. What’s next for her? Erin would love to learn how to knit.
