Gabby Monroy

EC Aide

As with so many on the SLOCA team, Gabby Monroy has a family history in education. Growing up in the Central Valley, Gabby watched her mother work as an elementary school teacher, and she's helped out in classrooms herself since 6th grade. She is currently working toward her degree in Sociology at Cal Poly and has already earned her associate's degree in Child Development and Liberal Studies. Gabby joined SLOCA in 2026, drawn to our focus on forming students both intellectually and in character. In the near future, Gabby hopes to earn her bachelor's degree and potentially pursue a master's in social work or complete her teaching credential.
