Intermediate Lead Teacher

Hannah Greenelsh knows what it’s like to be a SLOCA student firsthand. The SLO native attended SLO Classical Academy during fifth and sixth grade before joining the school as a staff member in 2023. After earning her B.A. in Liberal Studies from CSU Monterey Bay, she taught fifth grade in Atascadero, where she developed her love for helping students explore new ideas. She was drawn back to SLOCA by the school’s rich focus on history and literature, which she believes informs every part of education and life. One of her earliest learning memories is visiting the library with her mom, picking out bags of picture books, and reading them at home with her family—a passion she still carries today. Outside the classroom, Hannah enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and hopes to take up rollerblading and creative writing.
