Heidi Mitchell

Heidi Mitchell is a hands-on kind of person. Local to SLO County, she grew up in Shell Beach where her family owned and operated the Old Vienna Restaurant. School was always special for Heidi, but it wasn’t until she had children of her own that she and her husband realized how critical early education can be. The Mitchells joined the SLOCA community in 2016, and the experience has inspired them to be better teachers for their two children. When Heidi isn’t helping out around SLOCA, she runs an electrical business with her husband and can be found working on construction around the house, sewing, and even doing small building projects out of old furniture or reclaimed wood.
