Jessica Peña

Jessica Peña became a history nut at five years old. The Los Osos local remembers her parents taking the family to see "Braveheart" on the big screen (perhaps a questionable parenting decision) in 1995, and she's had a passion for the past ever since. No surprise, then, that Jessica graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in History and English Literature. After college, she worked in journalism, copywriting, and bakery management before finding her way to SLOCA in 2025. The school's emphasis on history, literature, and Latin immediately impressed her. When she's not working behind the scenes at SLOCA, you can find Jessica reading with a good cup of coffee and—of course—watching movies.
