You could say Kaitlyn “KK” Spann knows SLOCA a little better than most. The Atascadero native graduated from SLOCA High School in 2025 and joined our staff as an early childhood aide the same year. Growing up, KK always loved to read and her parents were incredibly supportive of her love for learning. For her, classical education’s focus on reading is unique and beneficial to children of all ages. Currently, KK is attending Cuesta College, majoring in Spanish and taking classes in child development. When she’s not in the classroom, you can probably find her studying Spanish, American Sign Language, or, most likely, singing.
