Krissie Miller

Music Teacher

Krissie Miller knew she wanted to perform before she could read. Growing up in SLO, Krissie was raised by a mother who worked as an educator and instilled in her a passion and confidence for learning at a young age. She caught the singing and acting bug at only three years old and went on to earn her B.F.A. in Acting from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Prior to starting at SLOCA in 2026, Krissie spent three years as an instructor for the SLO Repertory Theater, worked as a private voice teacher at Lyrics and Melodies Studio, and taught at Grand Central Music. SLOCA's collaborative spirit is what brought her to our team. She's excited to explore the true joy of holding space for children's wonder and exploration through music. Outside of the classroom, you can find Krissie working on her dance moves.
