Laura Bernard grew up not too far from the Central Coast. Originally from Fresno, she moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly, where she earned a B.A. in English and a minor in Art History. After graduating in 2023, she lived and worked in London for a year before moving back to California. Laura worked in hospitality before discovering the team at SLOCA. A staff member since 2024, Laura truly feels that students here are educated to become well-rounded individuals, not just excellent at academics. Outside of school, you can find her trying out new local food spots to review on her food Instagram or watercoloring greeting cards for friends and family.
