Lauren Micheal

You’d be hard-pressed to find someone more versed in classical education than Lauren Micheal. Originally from western Washington state, Lauren discovered her love of learning in honors English and rhetoric classes. She then earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Colorado Christian University and went on to earn her M.A. in Classical School Leadership from Gordon College. Before joining the SLOCA team in 2026, Lauren taught grammar school and spent eight months teaching with the Rafiki Foundation in Tanzania in addition to studying at the L'Abri Fellowship in England. She believes wholeheartedly in the power of classical education to create thoughtful, engaged, and other-focused individuals. Outside of work, you can find Lauren traveling, cooking, reading, camping with her loved ones, and working on learning Arabic (wish her luck!).
