Upper Middle School Math Teacher

Riley is from Orange County and is currently finishing up his B.S. in Neuroscience at UCLA. He became our UMS Algebra 1 teacher in 2022 and loves the welcoming energy of the staff and the engagement of the students. He believes that Classical education allows students to study subjects not available in public school which fosters a diverse set of skills. He loves to surf with his brother in spots like Morro Bay and has made it a goal to continue helping his community as well as go to graduate school at sometime in the future. His love of learning was ignited by his High School calculus teacher who showed him that Mathematics is beautiful, useful, and inspiring.
