Samantha Lassiter grew up in Arroyo Grande surrounded by family and teachers who prioritized a sense of curiosity. After earning her AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Allan Hancock College, she worked as a menu and creative manager for her family's restaurant. Samantha’s sister introduced her to SLOCA, where the rich history of classical education immediately resonated with her. A staff member since 2025, Samantha channels her creative energy into exploring process art techniques for the toddler classroom; she believes in education that inspires wonder. When she's not at school, you'll find her at the beach with her two cattle dogs, Zucchini and Pickles, soaking up the Central Coast sunshine.
