Veronica Tamiso

Veronica Tamiso did not plan on working in education. As a child growing up in the San Gabriel Valley, she initially dreamed of a career in medicine. However, seeing her mom participate in school functions and witnessing the close bond between teachers and students changed her mind. At Cuesta College, she earned her AA in Early Childhood Education and never looked back. Before joining SLOCA in 2024, Veronica worked as a director for La Petite Academy, which provides early childhood education programs nationwide. With more than a decade of experience in education, Veronica was drawn to SLOCA's unique teaching style. Out of the classroom, Veronica loves spending time with her family — watching movies, going camping, and having a good dance party.
