Happy Monday and welcome to Week 3!
Before we get to our Monday Mix-ins, we wanted to remind you about tomorrow night’s History Experience. This fun and informative history training is a fantastic way to learn more about what awaits us this trimester. You’ll leave feeling like you’ve just sat through a college course and that you are thoroughly prepared for in-depth conversations with your student(s). You are welcome to bring a comfy folding chair, a beverage or two, and/or snacks to share. Remember, attendance is required for parents of students in 1st – 8th grades.
In a few weeks, we will begin studying Michelangelo. We wanted to make sure you knew about an opportunity to see the Sistine Chapel without having to get on a plane to Italy. You will, however, have to drive to Garden Grove, CA in order to see these “near-life-size reproductions of the iconic master’s 34 frescos.” Follow the link to learn more. The exhibit is open through January 11th, 2020. Be sure to let us know if you make the trek down there.
