Leonardo Da Vinci: The Original Renaissance Man

Last Monday we gave you a little peek at Leonardo Da Vinci as our primary students were enjoying the book Leonardo’s Horse. This week, our Monday Mix-ins are chock-full of Da Vinci as our Primary through UMS students are reading Diane Stanley’s beautiful and rich book, Leonardo Da Vinci.  (Want a chance to meet Diane Stanley? Don’t miss the Wonder Conference happening October 10-12.)

“It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”
― Leonardo da Vinci

Whether you prefer the term polymath or Renaissance man, there’s no denying that Leonardo Da Vinci was skilled in a variety of fields and did not sit back and “let things happen” to him.  Explore below these informative and fun resources about this unique and gifted man.
