Welcome to Down Home, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy’s blog! We are a classical school offering several options to make our education work for families with infants through high schoolers. Our signature hybrid program, which is part-time classroom and part-time home instruction, provides an engaging education for preschool through middle school (with full time options available). We also have a university model high school. This blog is meant to support and encourage on the home front because, in so many ways, the heart of what happens at SLO Classical Academy happens down home.

Jamestown: Week 3

Welcome back! How was your Spring Break? Chances are it was not what you had originally planned for the time off from school. Even so, we hope you were able to enjoy the break from the rigor and responsibilities of homeschool and are now refreshed and ready for the week ahead. (Or, at least, looking forward to a little more routine.)

We’ve got another week of Jamestown Mix-ins for you today! But first things first…

Creative Kindness x Citizenship:

Have you had an opportunity to show kindness to our community in a creative way? Before the break, our SLOCA staff and leadership encouraged us to find creative ways to express kindness and support to our community in conjunction with our character trait of the month: Citizenship. We’d love to see what you have come up with. Share your photos here and keep the kindness going!

And now for some Monday Mix-ins!
