Happy Friday! On May 8th our SLOCA High School Juniors and Seniors celebrated prom. Today we wanted to give you a glimpse of that magical night. Enjoy!
Thirty-eight VIP guests sauntered down the pink carpet to the 2021 ‘Met Gala’ themed Junior & Senior Prom this past Saturday. Gorgeous dresses, dazzling shoes, sharp jackets, vests, and ties replaced sweatshirts and backpacks. Laughter and dancing took place instead of studying. Glorious food and drink were served and appreciated by all. Smiles and twinkle lights glowed in the lovely courtyard while music got people busting a move, whether on the dance floor in the modern barn, or washing dishes in the main house. Like a true celebrity event, awards were given to the Seniors by the Seniors. Prom was a truly wonderful, amazing, and memorable event pulled off by incredibly talented and dedicated parents within the parameters and in spite of COVID challenges this year. The students had an absolute blast – thank you, Prom Committee!
