Today we bring you part two of our 2025 Senior Highlights series! Catch up on part one here. Each post will feature our seniors individually: their plans for the future, a few of their answers to some Q&A, and a link to their Senior Project presentation.
Every spring, our high school seniors present their capstone Senior Projects with a professional presentation summarizing their work. Anyone who attends is sure to be impressed with their depth of thought, confidence, and poise. Be sure to check out some, or all, of these culminating projects! Our seniors have all joined the great conversation; let us witness and experience it alongside.

Jadon Garrity
After high school, Jadon plans to attend a Cal Poly SLO.
Favorite hobbies? Photography, football, cars, hanging out with friends, drums, and cooking.
Advice for incoming freshmen? Enjoy high school, spend time with friends, work hard, and talk to teachers/older students about problems or just for advice.

Senior Project: Us Versus Them: Understanding and Overcoming Polarization

Lily Hoffman

If you could move anywhere in the world…I wouldn’t really care where I am just as long as I’m near the ocean and my cats can come with me.
Best advice for incoming freshmen? I would say try to give yourself plenty of patience and compassion. High school can be difficult and doesn’t always go the way you plan. It’s important to give yourself room to change and adapt. Don’t let your idea of who you should be get in the way of you becoming your most authentic self.
Favorite hobbies? Creating mixed media art, exploring nature, and spending time with the people closest to me.
Senior Project: Creative Healing: Arts Role in Modern Psychotherapy

Ben Jackson
After high school, Ben plans to attend Cal Poly SLO.
Important skill everyone should have? Be comfortable asking for help when you need it.
Favorite SLOCA Memory? The SLOCA Survivor camping trip.
Favorite hobbies? I like playing guitar and spending time with friends
Senior Project: Cash, Corruption, and Capitalism: Is Money Still the Root of All Evil?

Miles Kennedy
After high school, Miles plans to attend New England Conservatory.
If you could move anywhere in the world...New York for the character development. It’s probably too expensive to live there forever as a musician, but I’d like to live in New York for a while.
Favorite hobbies: Creating music and different types of multimedia art. I like putting music to images, especially.
Favorite musical artists: Currently, I’ve been listening to a lot of Luiz Bonfa, Moses Sumney, and Kaz Moon.
Senior Project: The Music Itself

Lucy Lister
After high school, Lucy plans to attend Whitman College.
Favorite hobbies? I love to be outside, read, and hang out with friends
Advice for incoming freshmen? Pay attention in class, come prepared, and ask your teachers for advice and guidance.
Any pets? Two dogs: Rex and Lady.
Senior Project: The Courage to Rest: Confronting Our Lives as Busy Monsters

Favorite SLOCA memory? Making everyone breakfast my freshman year with one of my friends.
Favorite hobbies? Cooking food for myself and my friends.
