We close this year of studying the Ancients with a History Day of epic proportions—2026 SLOCA Olympics! Primary through High School students will be split into teams to face off in a series of challenges, both physical and mental. Who will win the glory?
While not required, Kinder students are invited to join in the fun for this History Day and join Kinder-only teams to compete in the same games! For more details on Kinder participation, please contact Ms. Hardin ([email protected]).

Parking
Would you like a guaranteed parking spot for your chariot at this Spring’s History Day? We are selling 55 spots (all proceeds help offset the cost of the event) for only $10 each to help you have an easier parking experience.
Note: Limited free parking spots will also be available at Grand for handicapped, elderly, and families with infants.
Free parking is available in the neighborhoods south of the 101 Highway, and we will have two free SLOCA shuttles available:
3:30-4:15 PM — Pickup from Vets Hall (Grand Ave and Palm St) + Drop Off at SLOCA
7:00-7:15 PM — Pickup from SLOCA Upper Parking Loop + Drop Off at Vets Hall
