Welcome to Down Home, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy’s blog! We are a classical school offering several options to make our education work for families with infants through high schoolers. Our signature hybrid program, which is part-time classroom and part-time home instruction, provides an engaging education for preschool through middle school (with full time options available). We also have a university model high school. This blog is meant to support and encourage on the home front because, in so many ways, the heart of what happens at SLO Classical Academy happens down home.

What’s for Breakfast: Overnight Breakfast Recipes

Overnight Breakfast Recipes

Today we deviate again slightly from What’s for Dinner, to talk about breakfast. I am not always the best breakfast cook, but I love the idea of a homey meal to start the day, particularly when the weather is cold. I especially want to serve my family a hearty breakfast on Christmas morning, but don’t necessarily want to get up early to cook it! So I love a good breakfast that can cook overnight and be ready for us when we wake up. I recently found this convenient list with some inspiring recipes to try:

35 Easy, Overnight Breakfasts

There’s something here for everyone, and I hope you will try some of these recipes and let us know what you think! I’ll be trying a few myself.
