Tuesday Tip: Kid-Friendly Search Engines

{source}

Our students are well underway in their research projects, and most likely they will be using the internet as one source to find out information about their chosen inventor or invention. Today we want to highlight a few kid-friendly search engines to help your children with their online research. Of course, parental involvement is still highly encouraged any time your child is on the internet, and it’s always best to search with them, but here are a few search engines meant to be safe for kids:

Yahoo Kids

Ask Kids

KidsClick

CyberSleuth Kids

Have you discovered any other safe sites for educational research, particularly about inventors or inventions? Share your tips with us by posting a comment below.
